On March 16th, 2018 the members of Grace Fellowship were in complete agreement in calling George Robson to serve as Deacon. George is a natural servant and humbly meets the needs of the body, filling in wherever he can. His calm and joyful demeanor endeared the body to him from the beginning and his encouraging nature makes everyone feel welcome. George has a desire to see a healthy, local church grow through knowledge of Christ and loving community. He is instrumental in keeping our structures and finances running smoothly and his technical knowledge is vital in this digital age. George’s kindness and patience are a blessing to the entire body, and he shows the love of Christ to everyone he meets.
On October 20th, 2019 the members of Grace Fellowship commissioned Aaron Murray to serve as deacon. Aaron has a big heart, big presence and big sense of humor. The joy he gets from serving and caring for the body is a blessing to everyone. He has many practical skills that he uses to serve the body and maintain our facilities, while bringing many alongside him to serve as well. He loves to cook and serve people and his wife Sherry loves caring for the many little children in the congregation. We have seen him grow tremendously since being at Grace and the body has been blessed by his contributions. He truly wants God to be glorified and the Christ’s bride to grow into maturity in Him.
On October 20th, 2019 the members of Grace Fellowship commissioned David Touchton to serve as deacon. David has a seasoned knowledge of God’s Word and a strong desire to see it taught and applied. He is a great support to the elders in the way that he serves the body and faithfully prays for the church's needs and members. His desire to see people welcomed in the body is encouraging to everyone he meets. David is a talented writer who manages our social media and weekly email updates, making sure our body is fed with the truth of the gospel throughout the week, he also enjoys using his creativity and planning in our events. He serves the body along with his wife Kelly and two teenagers Talia and Trey.
